1.1 Released!

Thank you all for your support and patience - 1.1 is out now, get the latest install on our site: www.nowboarding.us

This updates includes new content and lots of bug fixes. In addition to what we mentioned before, it includes:

Free Play has been split into 2 ‘difficulties’ : Casual and Challenge. Casual is the one you guys have had. It hasn’t changed.

Challenge has the following differences:
1. The game is played by years rather than promotion.
2. The game is scored.
3. At the end of each year, you have a choice: submit your score to the high score table or play another year.
4. You can play as many years as you want, and each year is harder.
5. Airplane upgrades. This beat build has 4 upgrades for each of the 4 original airplanes.
6. You start with the green tower and terminal, and you can upgrade each. The tower gives you access to more airplanes, and the terminal gives you access to more terminal items in the catalog and also more gates.

There are 4 new airplanes:

Private Jet: really fast, really long range, 4 seats, limited to 2 hops per route.

Lone Ranger: Helicopter, 8 seats, does not automatically return to the hub. This is useful for leaving out at other destinations in case passengers spawn nearby. To send it, click on the ‘H’ underneath the destination. Also doesn’t have to use the runway at the terminal.

Love Boat: 36-seater, long range, speed slows as it fills up, passengers regain patience when riding it. It’s a big help, but watch out, it’s really slow.

Blimp of Happiness: Acts like helicopter (doesn’t come back), no seats, it has an area effect of increasing patience of passengers in nearby cities.

Planes remember their routes! You can click on “Use Previous” to have a plane instantly routed to it’s previous destinations.

There’s also a new advanced routing feature. It gives you more control over which passengers your airplanes pick up. It’s really nice. You can turn it on and read how it works in the Options menu or Pause menu in the game.

Now you can also deactivate your game to install it on another computer. You can also delete user profiles.

You can fire employees now.
